Online Casino Poker Championship begins

The World Championship of Online Poker has kicked off with players competing from around 50 different countries worldwide. In the $500 No-Limit event online Poker players compete to take home a whopping amount of $306,200. The four year old online tournament is one of the world's prestigious poker events.
The Online Poker competition which lasts till 18th September puts forward a total prize pool which amounts to $1,531,000. 324 players receive money. Nolan Dalla, the director of communications for Poker Stars online was thrilled about this year's tournament response. Nolan stated that Poker continues to boom and this is true especially of online Poker. The World Championship of Online Poker gives every player an opportunity to compete for a championship title from any computer in the world. Nolan called it the Olympic games of Poker.
